Rustic wood display riser blocks in 30mm, 45mm, 65mm, 85mm and 105mm heights options and multiple-set quantity options from single blocks [1pcs option] to up to ten blocks in a set [10pcs option].

These blocks are made from rectangular section 95mm x 75mm [approx.] timber stock. Each unique piece will have acquired natural character and patina from former use alongside weathering effects that only real exposure to the natural elements sun, wind and rain delivers over time.

The reclaimed timber used to make each piece are selected for interesting side-grain or ring patterns, they are sanded in three separate stages to carefully retain their weathered nature leaving a fine, smooth-to-touch, brushed surface after the final stage of processing. They are hand finished in an oil/beeswax polish which gently enhances the grain patterns and contrast of natural weathered features and matured woody tones within the timber.

Please Note:
The orientation of end-grain ring patterns will vary from piece to piece. Some pieces may have concentric rings, as per the listing photos, however, other pieces may exhibit different arcs of tighter, wider or more straightened grain pattern. The weathered wood exterior surfaces may be lighter or darker in some pieces depending on age and exposure to the elements over time.

All the reclaimed wood used to make these blocks comes from heat-treated timber i.e. this timber has not undergone any industrial chemical preservative treatments so is safe for the handing in the home, office, retail or public-space environments.

This is weathered reclaimed wood so each piece may contain knots, small cracks, the odd nail hole and colour variation from sun, wind and rain exposure and naturally occurring spalting affects which have developed within the timber over time — these features are not defects but the inherent character of naturally aged wood.
